Our story started with Wasadata AB and the development of Spider, a groundbreaking booking system. From the very beginning, we were at the forefront of technological innovation, focusing on streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
SLI AB – A market leader in educational media
SLI AB was founded and launched SLI.se, which quickly became a leading platform for audiovisual educational resources in schools. Bringing together everything from educational films to documentaries, the platform made it easy for teachers to find high-quality learning materials tailored to their needs.
Kunskapsmedia AB – Quality at the core
Kunskapsmedia AB was founded with the goal of producing high-quality educational films for schools. Through clear pedagogy and relevant, curriculum-based content, Kunskapsmedia has become a trusted and well-established name among teachers and students alike.
Streaming – The future of education
We were early adopters of streaming technology, offering streamed files through SLI.se and UR.se. At the same time, Solfilm Media AB was founded, focusing on educational materials for younger learners.
ETS & Filmoteket – Depth and breadth
ETS Media AB was established, specializing in documentaries and feature films. Filmoteket AB was added as a competitor to SLI Play, further expanding our range of high-quality films.
SLI Education AB – A commitment to schools
Mediacenter Mälardalen AB was acquired and renamed SLI Education AB. This was an important step in streamlining and focusing our educational services.
Eduklips AB – Short and effective learning
Eduklips AB was launched as the first subscription service for shorter educational films and clips, responding to a growing need for quick and effective teaching resources.
Eduflix.com + Filmoteket – New opportunities
We successfully acquired the domain eduflix.com and, at the same time, acquired Filmoteket AB, opening up new visions and strengthening our position in the market.
Eduflix & KMG – Consolidation and innovation
Eduflix film production was launched within SLI Plus, focusing on high-volume production. At the same time, Kunskapsmedia’s brands were consolidated under Kunskapsmedia Group AB.
EFG acquires KMG – Strength through collaboration
Eduflix Group acquired Kunskapsmedia Group, making us even stronger and more complete as a provider of educational materials.
Medix acquired – Deeper knowledge
Medix was acquired, and its focus on Swedish history and dramatized educational films further strengthened our offering.
